Akrotiri and Red Beach

A visit in Santorini's history through the ruins of Akrotiri excavition site. Archaeologist Spyros Marinatos begun the excavations in 1967 which are still going on.
Large quantities of ashes pilled up for centuries have been uncovered revealing a prehistoric city with very impressive public and private building, hygienic installations and sewage system that proves the high level of the civilization of the era.

After visiting Akrotiri archaeological site you will have the opportunity to visit the Red beach at the foothills of a cliff plunging into the sea.

Santorini Volcano & Hot Springs Cruise

Santorini Volcano and Hot Springs (Palea Kammeni) short cruise. Our boat departs from the Old Port of Fira at 11:00 and approximatelly after10 minutes arrives in Erinia, the port of the Volcano island, Nea Kammeni.

The boat remains there for 1 hour and 15 minutes which is enough time to visit the craters and take photographs.
After the Volcano visit, we continue to Palea Kammeni island, where hot springs and natural mud baths can be found. They were created after the volcanic eruptions. In the small bay of St.Nickolas, the water temperature varies from 30 to 35 degrees Celcius , as it constantly mixes with the normal seawater. In order to get the the thermal springs you will have to swim approximately 30 meters from where the boat will anchor.
There isn't any beach but you can climb down the stairs of the boat. After the swimming at the thermal springs boat returns back to the same port at 14.00.
The above excursion is repeated at 14.00-17.00 only at the high season.
The tour is available throughout the season.
